About me
Paula Huddy-Zubkowski is currently a team member of the Global Environmental Outdoor Education Council (GEOEC) and is an Educational Technology Consultant with CCSD. Paula has graduated from UBC MET program, taught K-12 for 15+, and for the last six years she has been a consultant developing lessons, videos, STEAM programming, and inclusive makerspaces. In 2018, she became a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow, embarking on a transformative journey to the Southern Ocean and recently in 2023 went to Greenland and the Canadian Arctic with National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions. Through these experiences she has created the ChangeMAKER Challenge that incorporates STEAM lessons for K-12 students. Paula’s passion drives her to educate teachers and students, cultivating global citizenship and geographic literacy using technology as a tool for positive change.
