About me
I have worked for the Peace Wapiti Public School Division since 1991, when I began my teaching career. Over my 30+ years with Peace Wapiti, I taught everything from ECS to Grade 12! My passion for technology, which has been present since its inception in education, and my goal of obtaining a Master's degree in Educational Technology, led me to become an Education Technologist for the division, a role I held until my official retirement on December 31, 2023. Integrating technology in an effective and curriculum-focused way defined my time in my pre-retirement roles. Retirement brought a slightly different focus to my work with Peace Wapiti, but it still allows me to collaborate with adults in the district.
After work, I spend time playing cards and assisting my dad with projects around the house and yard. Additionally, I enjoy reading, setting up new gadgets in the house, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends.
I have been an active member of ATLE for many years, contributing to the ProLearn Committee, the Convergence Conference Committee, and now serving on the Board as the Zone 1 Director. I eagerly anticipate many more years of collaborating with the outstanding leaders of this province through ATLE.
